As a small non-profit making club, we struggle to make ends meet. We try to keeping the cost of training low, so that it can benefit the local community by providing a sporting activity for children and adults, without costing the earth. Shirehampton and Avonmouth have suffered blows recently with the closure of Shirehampton Swimming Pool and the closure of Robin Cousins Sports Centre in Avonmouth. There’s not much to do in the area now.
Our Instructors are volunteers, so we don’t pay them, but we still need to cover the cost of Hall Hire; Insurance and transportation costs (to take the pupils to Nottingham for gradings and competitions).
