Courses:

Sensei Paul Mead (6^th Dan SKI Instructor)

Sensei Paul Mead visited Kyoto SKC here in Shirehampton, Bristol for a course in Shotokan Karate.

The two-hour course was held on Saturday 13^th October 2007.

Sensei Mead (6^th Dan) is the senior student of the SKI-GB, under Hanshi Asano (9^th Dan). He is a former SKI European Champion, captained the winning Mens Team Kumite in the SKI World Championships in Mexico City in 1991, and more recently took 1^st place in the Mens Master Class (45+ category) in the SKI European Championships in Odessa in 2004.

Twenty students trained on the day, including three students from Newport SKI along with their Sensei Dave Griffiths (5^th Dan).
